We thought you’d appreciate an update about the Movement for Good nominations that you kindly supported us with. Sadly, we have not been successful winning one of the 500 awards for £1,000 each. Amazingly,13,695 charities were nominated by 253,879 members of the public. They have wished us good luck next time. Thank you for your enthusiasm to nominate us though. It is much appreciated.

We have a request for your help. With 2 minutes of your time, we could be in with a chance of winning a Movement for Good Award worth £1,000. This would go directly towards caring for carers. That’s why we ask for 2 minutes to help carers.

Can you help us? How does this help carers?
This money is equivalent to 2-3 sets of paying guests visiting our holiday cottage. As you may know, 100% of the income from paying guests goes towards After Umbrage and making the holiday cottage FREE for carers – of loved ones living with a life-limiting condition. Naturally, we don’t have this income since Covid-19 so it’s more important than ever that we raise it in different ways.
